Blake Anderson was born in Sacramento County, California, and moved to Los Angeles, California to study stand-up comedy and improvisation after finishing high school. He studied improvisation with the Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade, while also attending Orange Coast College, and working part-time delivering pizzas. He subsequently co-founded the sketch comedy troupe, Mail Order Comedy. He and the other members of the group, Anders Holm, Adam DeVine, and Kyle Newacheck, performed all over southern California, while also pursuing their own careers. He went on to appear on such shows as "Traffic Light", "Entourage", "House", "Community", "Arrested Development", and "Loiter Squad". He also appeared in "National Lampoon's The Legend of Awesomest Maximus" and provided the voice of Daga in "Epic". He is most widely recognized for his co-starring role on "Workaholics".
Blake Raymond Anderson (born March 2, 1984) is an American comedian, writer, producer, and actor. He is one of the stars and co-creators of the Comedy Central series Workaholics.

Anderson was born in Sacramento County, California, and went to Clayton Valley Charter High School. He was made fun of for his curly hair, so he decided to shave it off because of peer pressure in 1998. Even though Anderson grew up in Northern California, he moved to Los Angeles to work with improvisational comedy troupes. Originally from Concord, California, Anderson studied with The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade. While working as a pizza delivery driver, Anderson attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, where he met future co-star Adam DeVine.
In 2006, Anderson formed the sketch comedy group Mail Order Comedy with Anders Holm, Adam DeVine, and Kyle Newacheck. He appeared on several episodes of the Fox show Traffic Light and has had small cameos in an episode of HBO's Entourage, he was also in National Lampoon's The Legend of Awesomest Maximus (2009); and an episode of the Fox show House. Anderson has also appeared on many YouTube shows such as "Mailordercomedy" and "DungeonoftheNutsack". Anderson has starred on the Comedy Central show Workaholics since 2011. Anderson has also had roles on Community and Arrested Development and recently appeared on season 2 of Loiter Squad. He worked with improv groups such as The Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade, and the National Lampoon Lemmings. Anderson also acts in, writes, and produces all of the material for Mail Order Comedy. He also tours the country to perform his stand-up comedy acts. He recently was in featured in the 2013 Fox produced movie, Epic, as he voiced the character of Dagda.
Anderson is an avid supporter of the Hyphy hip-hop music scene in the East Bay, California, area, noting Lil B as one of his favorite performers. Anderson states he is "Based 4 Life" and "Lil B is the true Based God
