Xiu Li Hawken Net Worth: Xiu Li Hawken is a Chinese-native businesswoman who has a net worth of $1.5 billion. A London resident now, Xiu Li Hawken accumulated her fortune along with her brother as they leased air-raid shelters and turned them into popular shopping malls in their native China. Born in Harbin, northern China, Hawken moved to Britain in 1991 to learn English. Already a reporter, she started to work in finance and there he met her future husband Tony Hawken, a teacher. Once they wed, Xiu Li returned to China to help her brother build the real estate investor Renhe Commercial Holdings, which owns and manages more than 22 (mostly underground) malls in 15 cities across the country including up-and-coming cities like Yueyang in Hunan Province and Wuxi in Jiangsu Province.
